Emily Bass is a 21 year old singer/ songwriter based in Destin, Florida. Appearing on both seasons 17 and 18 of NBC's The Voice, she is the truest definition of determination. Emily was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Magnolia where she began singing and performing around age 10. Her freshman year of high school she decided to leave the public school life and take on homeschool in order to spend more time honing her craft. At just 16 years old she had already performed in front big name celebrities such as Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Nick Jonas, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry and more. Emily's biggest dream is to inspire other young girls and boys that anything is possible with hard work and determination and that being young is not a setback despite the common misconception.
